More from Farley Granger on co-star Robert Walker
The American Film Institute posted this link on their Facebook page. Granger and Cary Grant are probably the sexiest of Hitchcock's leading men--at least in style, appearance and "grace in movement." In this clip, Granger discusses working with his criss crossed costar (say that three times fast) Robert Walker in Strangers on a Train. I've supported (at least in spirit) the AFI since the the mid-seventies. It remains a great institution that both helps preserve American film, but perhaps the AFI's more lasting impact is that it continues to educate and train tomorrow's Hitchcocks.
I have always considered Robert Walker's performance in "Strangers On a Train" as the template for Dennis Hopper's Frank Booth in "Blue Velvet."
