H9:The Mountain Eagle (1926)

A lone recently unearthed lobby card from Hitchcock's lost The Mountain Eagle
Alfred Hitchcock's second silent film has gained a certain allure over the years as it is the one Hitchcock film that is lost.  Currently no print, full or partial, has been found.  The film received somewhat tepid notices from English tradde magazines of the day and Hitchcock himself had little to say about it.  When I was putting together Hitchcock's Notebooks in 1998 and 1999, Hitchcock expert and researcher J. L. Kuhns shared his collection of stills from the film, perhaps the only remaining images from the films. Those stills have been out together by another fan and set to music--the resulting tribute/montage is below.

This is part of the Hitchcock 9 series.
