Do you know
Narrative--this is a step off the Vertigo/Hitchcock path, but I want to recommend this web journal to my readers. What caught my eye in this issue that made this share worthy is th article "Best Advice--Makes Your Mistakes at Full Speed."

I don't make these plugs very often and they are never at the invite of the site--so when I do recommend, you can know that it is a site that is part of my weekly, sometimes daily web routine. I love good writing and Narrative has that--both new and "classic". They recently had a reading by James Salter and some of his fiction. Who is Salter?
Click here. If this is your first Salter-ian moment, I envy you. I remember mine--a
bout twenty years ago. I chuckle now because I started reading his novel A Sport and a Pastime I was feeling old and wistful--at 27. If I only knew then . . .I went on to find everything I could by Salter. Light Years is another favorite. Salter has a clear, succinct style. His poetry and rhythm is natural, somehow masculine.
