The Return of Abel Gance's "Napoleon" on Notebook | MUBI

My heart really has been left in San Francisco this weekend the city's silent film festival is screening Abel Gance's Napoleon.  I witnessed the 80's road show with Carmine Coppola as the composer and at the podium.  As time lets other lessor moments fall away, that evening with Gance's film stands out as one of the great film experience moments in my life.
