This has always been a good dorm after screening, night long discussion topic.  Many see the obvious influences of North by Northwest in Dr. No.  I like to think that North by Northwest is in form and feel, the first James Bond.  But content, in my opinion, could not be more different.  Examine Hitchcock's spy films and you'll find nothing flippant or sexy.  Just the grim reality of the real human cost these games require.
